Welcome Baby Moses Villahermosa
Our family is pretty thrilled to have a beautiful new baby boy. Moses Villahermosa was born the day before Thanksgiving to my son Miguel Jr and his wife Sarah. Sarah and Moses, Daddy Miguel and big brother Miguel are
doing awesome and I'm hoping she will bring the baby to intro nite!
Hi Keely and Miguel,
ReplyDeleteI hope you remember me from a long time ago! It has been at least 28+ years since I stayed in your home and will never forget the kindness and love you gave me. I saw the video about Miguel's prostate cancer. I pray to God that he is well and completely healed. So much has happened in my life and my wife and I are so in love with Christ and we are very involved in our local church here in Houston. I hope we can talk one day and "catch up" on life. You have a beautiful family and I cannot believe your daughter...I think her name is Chelsea is all grown up. May God bless you and your family and all that you do for the Lord.
Hi Mr. V. It has been a very long time since I was a student of yours in high school. You were first my band teacher at Lincoln, and then the Vice Principal when I went to Foss. I had thought about seeking you out for a few years now, but never knew how to get ahold of you.
ReplyDeleteI ran across this website while browsing around the Tacoma Public Schools pages looking at pre-K programs for my son.
Anyways, to get to the point, I wanted to just tell you thank you for the dedication and compassion you had shown kids like me during the most critical time in our lives. Because of people like you, I have learned the value of hard work and a drive to always be a better man than I am right now. I went from someone who was almost doomed to fail in life, to a proud husband, father, small business owner and contributing member of my community.
I didn't become this way just out of thin air. It took people like you.. in the face of everyone else telling me I was nothing and a waste of their time, you and the very few teachers in my life like you, were willing to invest your time in my well being and show me that just because I got bad grades, didn't mean I was stupid. You showing your belief in my potential and investing that time, eventually resulted in me seeing that potential in myself.
Thank you for being you Mr. V.
I am very sorry to hear about your Prostate Cancer and I hope that things are better or getting better for you.
God Bless you, and if you would like to reach out to me, I attached my linkedin profile address to this comment page.
