Stubborn Righteousness

During the 4th quarter of the Seahawks game yesterday I ran over to listen to Pastor Scotty Kessler (General Kess) teach on David and Goliath. So worth it! Two things really stuck with me and I want to share w you my sistas:

David's bouts w the lion and bear in his past prepared him for his victory w the giant Goliath in his future ......DON'T DESPISE YOUR CURRENT STRUGGLE!

The second thing that I thought was profound was his statement on living in and holding on to STUBBORN RIGHTEOUSNESS.....he quoted Job 13:15 "Though He slay me, yet will I serve Him" and he quoted Daniels three friends being thrown in the fiery furnace for their faith:

Daniel 3:17-18 "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn't, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up."

I'm Keely Villahermosa

I have such a heart for Jesus and for His word. I love seeing women get set free through a deeper more intimate relationship with Him.

Jesus rescued me and my family from brokenness and sin and I will never get over it!

Because I'm so thankful I will spend the rest of my life teaching others how to connect with God through His word.

These bible studies started in my home 14 years ago and have grown from five women in my living room to what it is today.

In my work as an educator for 35 yrs, I've seen the consequences of poor choices by adults and kids and the ongoing hurt and pain that results.

As the person responsible for crisis response for Tacoma Public schools, I see the impact of senseless violence and death brought about by suicide and addiction. A lot of it can be attributed to the break up of the family and the lack of a moral compass or grounding for kids.

I'm committed to support couples so they can build a firm foundation on Jesus, the cornerstone. I've watched Keely and the BStudy women meet for years and continue to be convinced that Gods Word transforms lives.
